Petrobras (PETR4): Brasil não pode abrir mão dos investimentos em gás, diz diretora

Executiva alerta que ampliar oferta é a chave para reduzir preços do gás no país.

Ontras has been renewing the Neugattersleben (Nienburg) - Trajuhn gas pipeline northeast of Wittenberg since August 2019. This pipeline is an important transport route for the energy supply of Saxony-Anhalt and neighbouring regions. Before work can begin on the relevant section of the pipeline, the pressure across the downstream network is lowered as far as possible. Instead of blowing out the residual gas into the atmosphere in a controlled manner, it is burned off via a flare. This produces ten times less CO2 equivalent than blowing it out. The flare is operated under constant, expert supervision. A total of around 35,000 cubic meters of gas will be burned. A Petrobras (PETR4) defendeu a continuidade dos investimentos no setor de gás natural no Brasil.

Segundo Renata Baruzzi, diretora de Engenharia, Tecnologia e Inovação da companhia, reduzir investimentos pode comprometer a oferta e elevar preços no futuro.

Oferta maior ajudou a reduzir preços

De acordo com a executiva, a estatal conseguiu reduzir em cerca de 40% o preço da molécula do gás natural.

O movimento ocorreu após a entrada em operação do gasoduto Rota 3, que ampliou a oferta de 39 milhões para 50 milhões de m³ por dia.

Mesmo assim, a reguladora afirma que busca reduzir concentração no mercado sem comprometer a produção nacional de gás.
